Seedance 2.5 4K
ByteDance's Volcano Engine released Seedance 2.5 4K, a higher-resolution video model for film and television production, in trials with selected enterprise customers.
Seedance 2.5 4K adds further training that improves facial expressions, subtle movements and visual detail. A Draft mode lets users test shots and refine storyboards with 480p previews before generating a final 4K version. It supports 10-bit color and aims to keep image quality and fine detail when working from reference materials or editing existing footage.

Available for trials by selected enterprise customers only. The base Seedance 2.5 was previewed earlier, so this is a separate 4K variant. Some film and post-production companies in China and overseas have begun testing it.
