EdenLive
VAST open-sourced EdenLive, a real-time model that re-renders coarse game or video footage into detailed styled frames, with 5B and 14B weights and a 5B model above 24 FPS at 720p on one RTX 5090.
EdenLive does not simulate the world. An upstream program such as a game engine or coding-agent code runs the rules and outputs a coarse reference video, and EdenLive renders it guided by a target first frame and a text prompt. VAST says this keeps game logic explicit and testable and lets the real-time model focus on appearance. The models build on Wan2.2-TI2V-5B and Wan2.1-I2V-14B, and the release includes streaming inference code, a technical report, demos and a Game Prototype Turbo skill.

Figures
| Measure | Value | Measured by |
|---|---|---|
| 5B model speed on one RTX 5090 at 720p | above 24 FPS README gives about 24.7 FPS at 1280x704 using LightX2V acceleration | company |
| 5B model speed on one H100 at 1280x704 | 29.8 FPS from the technical report | company |
| 14B model speed on eight H100s at 832x480 | 26.8 FPS from the technical report | company |
Inference code and core diffusion, VAE and decoder weights are Apache 2.0, but the vision encoder follows the DINOv3 license and the prompt-to-game workbench image model is under the FLUX Non-Commercial License. VAST first described the approach in June.
