ChatGPT and Codex in the Oracle application stack
Oracle announced an expanded collaboration with OpenAI that adds ChatGPT and Codex to its application stack. It also widened OCI's chip lineup with Google TPUs, OpenAI's Jalapeño chip and Cerebras hardware.
In June 2026 OpenAI models and Codex became available through the OCI Marketplace, billed against Oracle Universal Credits. This announcement moves ChatGPT and Codex into Oracle's own application stack. The reports give no details on which Oracle apps get them, on timing or on pricing.
