Images 2.6 with GIF creation
OpenAI added GIF creation to ChatGPT with its new Images 2.6 model, which also generates images faster. It is rolling out to all ChatGPT and Codex users.
ChatGPT can now make a GIF from a text prompt or an uploaded photo in a single step, which it could not do natively before. Users can change playback speed, edit individual frames and share the result. Images 2.6 also speeds up image generation, and OpenAI is launching GPT-Image-2.6 Flare and Sunburst in its API.
