Dots
Sam Altman introduced Dots, an always-on AI agent that completes ongoing tasks proactively for users, at OpenAI's developer conference.
Dots are agents that work on a user's behalf without being prompted each time. Altman described them as an AI helper that always has your back. OpenAI had said the day before that it was holding back a more advanced model over researchers' security concerns, and Altman said in Q&A that the company is investing more in safety, security and monitoring of AI agents.
