ChatGPT virtual try-on
OpenAI added a Try on button to clothing and accessory listings in ChatGPT, which generates images of the user wearing the item from an uploaded selfie.
ChatGPT shopping results for clothes and accessories now show a Try on button. The user takes or uploads a selfie or full-body photo, and ChatGPT Images 2.5 generates the try-on image. OpenAI also added Favorites, which saves products to the ChatGPT Library alongside try-on images, and the reference photo is saved for later try-ons and can be changed or deleted in Settings.

Google launched a similar virtual try-on in Search in 2025. Engadget notes uploaded images from personal accounts can be used for training unless the user opts out.
