Your Algorithm for Facebook
Meta brought its AI-powered Your Algorithm feed controls from Instagram to Facebook Feed and Reels, letting users describe in their own words what they want to see.
Facebook users can add and manage topics, or tap Interested and Not interested from the three-dot menu on posts, and recommendations update in real time. Meta says it is using LLMs more in its ranking systems so the algorithm can take in natural language about interests and intent. The feature first launched on Instagram Reels in December 2025 and reached Instagram Feed and Explore in June, and Threads has a similar tool called Dear Algo.
