Muse Gadgets SDK

Meta released open-source firmware and a Linux SDK so developers can build their own Muse-powered gadgets, alongside a free Muse Home Link USB-C dongle for US subscribers.

Muse was previously available through Meta's own apps and the upcoming Muse Charm device. The Gadget SDK lets outside developers put Muse on other hardware, such as an E Ink display, an HDMI dongle or a small touchscreen. The code is Apache-2.0, but the tokens that connect to Muse's cloud are free only for personal, non-commercial use and capped at 50 devices given to others.

Code is Apache-2.0 but Muse cloud access tokens are restricted, so it is not fully open; this is a different product from Microsoft's Muse (WHAM).
