Playground
Google Labs launched Playground, an experimental platform that builds playable browser games from text prompts, for users aged 18 and over in the US.
Users describe a game in plain language and the AI generates a playable version, then they change physics, rules, characters and environments by chatting with it. Games can be kept private, shared by link or published to an Explore gallery, and some genres have multiplayer and leaderboards. Google plans a link to Unity Spark for more advanced 3D games, with a closed beta expected later in 2026.
