Gemini file generation and editing
Google now lets all Gemini users generate, preview and edit PDFs, Docs, Sheets, slide decks, Markdown, TXT and code files inside Gemini chats.
Google added file generation and download in Gemini earlier this year, and files can now be edited without leaving the app. Users can expand a document to full screen and highlight text to ask Gemini questions or request changes, such as turning a highlighted table into a graph. PDF preview and editing works on web and mobile, and the other formats are web only for now.
