Gemini Enterprise universal agent
Google announced a universal Gemini agent inside the Gemini Enterprise app that plans work, uses subagents and connects to business systems, in private preview for enterprise customers.
Earlier Gemini Enterprise offered a place to build and govern agents. This agent takes objectives rather than instructions, plans the work, uses custom skills and tools, and delegates to job-specific subagents. It picks a model automatically, lets users choose one including Anthropic's Claude, and has its own Workspace account with an email address and an audit trail attributed to the agent. It connects to Workspace, Microsoft 365, Slack, Jira, Snowflake, BigQuery and any MCP server, and users follow its work in a tasks inbox.

The Verge says it is in private preview for enterprise customers only, and TechCrunch says a consumer rollout comes later. The tracker's existing Gemini Enterprise record from 2025-10-09 is a different launch, so this is added as a new record.
