Gemini API CLI (gemini-api)
Google released the Gemini API CLI (gemini-api) in beta, a stateless, zero-dependency command-line client for coding agents, scripts and CI pipelines.
The new gemini-api command runs on the Interactions API. It can generate text and media, analyze files, and run Gemini managed agents. It is separate from the earlier Gemini CLI terminal coding agent, and is a thin client meant to be called by other agents and scripts.
