Deep Research agent in the Gemini API (Interactions API)

Developers can embed Gemini Deep Research through the new Interactions API; Google also open-sourced the DeepSearchQA benchmark.

Turns the 2024 consumer feature into an agent endpoint for browsing and synthesizing long reports. Interactions API unifies models and agents. Deep Research Max versions followed 2026-04-21.
