FLUX 3 Image Klein
Black Forest Labs released FLUX 3 Image Klein, a 5.6B open weights model for text-to-image, editing and multi-reference generation, with native 4K and bounding-box control.
Klein is a smaller open weights version of FLUX 3 Image with 5.6B parameters, sharing native 4K generation, pixel-perfect editing and bounding boxes. It ships as a base model for fine-tuning and a step-distilled model, with FP8, INT8 and NVFP4 builds made with NVIDIA. The INT8 build runs on RTX GPUs with 8GB of VRAM. BFL says it gains 91 Elo in text-to-image and 70 in editing over FLUX.2 [klein] 9B with 38% fewer parameters.

FLUX Kommunity License allows free commercial use for those with annual revenue under $5M. It is the second open weights release in the FLUX 3 family after FLUX 3 Action.
