User profiles enforcement status fields
Anthropic added enforcement_status and enforcement_actions fields to Claude API user profiles, so platforms can see whether Anthropic has restricted or banned one of their end customers.
User profiles launched on October 20, 2026. They let a platform, gateway or reseller tell Anthropic which end customer each API request is for, so a safety enforcement action can apply to one end customer instead of the whole organization. The new fields show restriction or ban status, and listing profiles with the new enforcement_status[] filter finds those with an open restriction or ban. The SDK and the ant CLI support the /v1/user_profiles endpoints.
