Personal Finance in Claude
Anthropic launched Personal Finance in Claude, which connects bank and credit card accounts through Plaid with read-only access to analyze spending, in beta for US paid plans.
Claude can now read connected account data and answer questions such as where money went this month, flag duplicate charges, unexpected fees and rising bills, and explain terms like APR. Access is read-only through Plaid, so Claude cannot move, manage or invest money and does not see banking passwords. It sees bank name, account name and type, last four digits, balances, credit limits and up to two years of transactions. Chats in the Personal Finance hub are not used to train models.
