Claude Duet

Anthropic launched Claude Duet, an AI agent for professionals and small business owners, as a research preview built on Claude Opus 5.5.

Duet sends a morning brief on key items across connected apps and messages the user during the day only when something needs attention. It also takes on tasks such as scheduling meetings, building dashboards, making forecasts and building web apps. It uses memory, skills and connected apps from Claude and has a virtual machine with a browser. It asks for approval before big steps like payments or deletions, and uses a new dedicated classifier and safety system prompt to reject requests to share the strictest tier of information, such as credit card numbers.

Available as a standalone iOS and Android app and through Claude on the web, by waitlist for Pro or Max subscribers in the US. Anthropic says it is an early version that may misread threads and is weaker at personal errands like booking tickets.
