LingGuang 2.0

Ant Group has started a limited beta of LingGuang 2.0, which turns its AI assistant into a personal agent with long-term memory, according to people close to the project.

The earlier LingGuang, launched in November 2025, centred on chat and generating content and small apps. The new version is built as a personal agent that remembers users and moves tasks forward on its own initiative. It can call Skills and MCP tools, for example to send messages through DingTalk and operate smart home devices. Ant has not made an official announcement, and the sources say a full rollout is planned this month.
