Bee Frontier and Bee Eclipse
Amazon's Bee launched the $74.99 Bee Frontier wearable today and announced the $99.99 Bee Eclipse phone-back recorder, plus an $11.99 per month Bee Pro subscription.
These are the first Bee devices since Amazon bought the startup last year. The Frontier is a redesigned wrist or clip-on wearable with a more prominent button, and the Eclipse is a credit-card-sized recorder that attaches magnetically to a phone. The Pro subscription adds Amazon.com and Alexa+ integration, so Bee can surface shopping suggestions from conversations and Alexa can read back Bee summaries. Amazon says audio is processed and deleted, and transcripts are encrypted.
